CDC Warns Americans Against Holiday Travel, Big Family Gatherings

Let's face it, Thanksgiving is going to be very different this year. For those who are used to spending the day with family surrounding a table full of food, you may have to re-think those plans.

The Centers For Disease control is warning Americans to cancel travel plans and local officials are advising against a houseful of people. If they don't live with you, they should stay home. If you do have others over for dinner, it is suggested they bring their own food, plates and utensils.

That may sound silly to some, but in reality holiday gatherings can turn into a super spreader event. Please heed the warnings, and travel only if necessary and limit the number of people in your home. Stay healthy and enjoy the holiday. Hopefully this time next year we'll all be with the entire family again.
