Study: Vitamin C and Zinc Don't Lessen COVID-19 Symptoms

Contrary to popular belief, a new study shows that Vitamin C and Zinc won't lessen the symptoms of COVID-19.

When the pandemic first started, people were rushing to the stores to buy the supplements because it was assumed that Vitamin C and Zinc would help fight off COVID-19 because they are known to lessen the severity of a cold and the flu. You couldn't find Vitamin C or Zinc anywhere for weeks.

But according to a study recently published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) Network Open, there was no benefit from the supplements to people isolating at home with COVID-19 -- not even in high doses.
