Milwaukee Bucks Co-Owner Is An HBCU Grad

I hope the Milwaukee Bucks win the NBA Finals because it is refreshing to see a team other than the Lakers get to the championship. No disrespect to LeBron and company, it's just cool to see other teams get in for a change.

And what's really cool is the fact that one of the co-owners of the Bucks is a black woman! Her name is Valerie Daniels-Carter and she grew up in Milwaukee, attended an HBCU and is a former basketball player herself. In addition, she sits on the board of directors for the Green Bay Packers and currently owns V&J Holdings Company, which operates fast food restaurants around the country.

Daniels-Carter is very excited about this NBA season and she gives a word of encouragement to the players before each game. It would really be nice if the Bucks become the next NBA champs.
